Most business blogs fail because they write for themselves, not for Google. Here is how to write posts that actually rank.
- Start with keyword research. Use free tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest to find what people actually search for
- Write for one keyword per post. Put it in your title, first paragraph, and headings
- Write at least 1000 words. Google prefers comprehensive content
- Use subheadings (H2, H3) to break up text
- Add internal links to other pages on your site
- Include images with descriptive alt text
- End with a clear call to action
- Publish consistently, not all at once. One post per week beats twelve posts in January and nothing for the rest of the year
Blogging is a long game. Start today, see results in 3-6 months
