What I Learned From Building 30+ Websites

I started building websites in 2017. I’ve built over 30 since then — for non-profits, construction companies, cleaning services, logistics firms, and more.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. The Problem Comes First

The best websites don’t start with design. They start with a problem. What’s broken for the customer? What’s costing them money? Design comes after we understand the problem.

2. Simple Sells

The most effective websites I’ve built are the simplest. Clear headlines. Obvious buttons. One message per page. Complexity doesn’t impress visitors — it confuses them.

3. Speed Is Everything

I’ve never had a client say “my site is too fast.” Slow sites lose customers. Every website I build is optimised for speed from day one — compressed images, clean code, fast hosting.

4. Clients Need Guidance

Most clients don’t know what they need. They just know they need a website. My job is to guide them — to ask the right questions, suggest the right approach, and deliver something that actually helps their business.

5. The Relationship Doesn’t End at Launch

Launch day isn’t the finish line. It’s the start. Clients need ongoing support, updates, and maintenance. That’s why I offer hosting and maintenance packages — so your site stays fast, secure, and up to date.

Want a Website That Works?

I’ve done this 30+ times. I know what works.
