JavaScript makes websites interactive. But not every business needs custom JavaScript.

Contact forms, image sliders, and basic animations can be handled with simple plugins or built-in WordPress features. Custom JavaScript makes sense when you need a booking system that talks to your calendar, a price calculator that updates in real-time, a live chat that integrates with your CRM, or a custom dashboard for your customers.

It does not make sense for a basic brochure website with a contact form and some photos. Before paying for custom development, ask: can this be done with a plugin or existing tool? If yes, save your money.

Use custom JavaScript only when nothing else works.
